Welcome! I’m Lisa Capobianco Alexander.

With over a decade of experience teaching special education and supporting students of all ages and abilities, I am passionate about helping learners recognize their strengths, build practical skills, and achieve meaningful growth.

Today, I proudly offer a range of services to families, schools, and legal teams, including:

  • Tutoring and Literacy Intervention:
Offering targeted, individualized instruction in reading, writing, and math, using research-based methods and engaging, accessible materials.
  • Advocacy Services:
Empowering families as they navigate the IEP process, ensuring that students receive the supports and services they deserve.
  • Special Education Consulting:
Providing independent IEP compliance audits, transition planning support, expert document reviews, and real-world insights into special education service delivery — bridging the gap between legal standards and classroom implementation.

In addition to my private practice, I also serve part-time as an executive functioning and literacy coach for Effective Effort Consulting in Norwell, Massachusetts, where I work with an exceptional team supporting student success.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions!
