These are some of my one-year-old’s current favorite books. I hope your little ones will enjoy them too!
- Baby Woof Woof -a flap book that is nearly indestructible! Ours lasted two years of daily reads.
- Baby Touch and Feel books -with 32 different books, this series can appeal to any child’s interests. The books are full of pictures and fun textures. Our favorites are Touch and Feel: Kittens and Touch and Feel: Puppies
- Peek-a-Boo Pop-Up Farm -we’re now on copy #3 of this book because both girls loved it so much that they ripped it to shreds. It may not be durable, but it’s cute and kids love it
- National Geographic’s Dogs -full of cute pictures of dogs and is great for working on scanning pages to find specific stimuli
- Jimmy Fallon’s board book box set -includes Everything is Mama, Your Baby’s First Word will be Dada, and This is Baby. Right now, my 3-year-old loves reading them to my baby
- Moo Baa La La La -always cracks them up
- Nature Friends Lift-a-Flap Boxed Set -includes Little Yellow Bee, Little Green Frog, Little Blue Boat, and Little Red Barn, all of which are adorable
- Snuggle the Baby -children learn how to take care of a baby using the book’s many activities. Perfect for soon-to-be older siblings!
- Three Little Duckies -a bath book with rubber ducks included so your little one can act out the story
- Good Morning, Good Night -an all-time favorite bedtime read with fuzzy animals to pet
